About

RecycleAllYear.com is the blog of a Colorado based consumer exploring the wealth of packaging and materials that get overlooked as potential recyclables and end up as land fill waste.

I began this blog in a blog’s true sense; a place for my thoughts as it relates to recycling. In addition, I’ll be writing about how one can begin to develop better habits for recycling, learning how more materials that I would normally throw away can also be recycled. Programs, events, companies, books, packaging and products are all fair game as subject matter for this blog as to my opinions regarding their movement from the consumer environment to a landfill or recycling center. In my writings about and on the subject of recycling, I should hope to find that the topics resonate with other consumers and that they too take action to develop or enhance better recycling habits.

Why RecycleAllYear.com? I have always equated recycling to aluminum can collection, corporate office paper recycling programs and reusing plastic bags. I have finally learned that in addition to sustaining those activities there are other services to collect and reuse a majority of other materials that most likely end up in a trash can for collection to a landfill. The posts that this blog contains are to identify and discuss those materials that I (or many people) may not know are recyclable and how to go about enabling successful recycling behavior all year.

I hope that this blog will cover many details that other people seek information about and can act as a local and national resource for enabling other consumers to create better habits for recycling.
